In Atoms creates a live soundtrack to introduce the Flunconference

If we could hear Flunstellas, what might they sound like? We asked Adam Cooper (In Atoms) to create a piece of music to set the tone as people were finding their seats for the Flunconference. In response to a video of people socializing and eating in a nearby cafe, Adam improvised this tender, absorbing score, which also served as a soundtrack to the opening credits of the conference.

The first Flunconference was hosted at FACT, in Liverpool, as part of the ‘Knowledge Lives Everywhere’ exhibition. A symposium format was used to bring people from different backgrounds and interests together, to explore what Flunstellas might be. The platform was shared by 11 speakers, who each presented their response to Flunstellas to an intrigued audience.
